Walter McGarry chosen as AccessPoint RI’s 2008 Partner in Philanthropy!
AccessPoint RI is pleased to honor Mr. Walter McGarry as its 2008 Partner in Philanthropy. Walter will be honored at the Association of Fundraising Professionals National Philanthropy Day celebration on November 25th at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
National Philanthropy Day is a day set aside each year giving non-profit organizations an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding contributions from members of our community whose volunteer work has helped to advance the mission of the organization.
Walter became a member of AccessPoint RIs Board of Directors in 2004. He is an amazing individual and volunteer. The word “no” does not exist in Walter’s vocabulary when asked to give up his free time to assist with a project or an event. He is there without hesitation!
