Sample Kindergarten Day
| 7:30 – 8:30 | Arrival and open centers |
| 8:30 – 9:30 | Morning work: journal writing & small group activities |
| 9:30 – 9:45 | Morning snack |
| 9:45-10:15 | Morning meeting: calendar, weather, songs, counting, shared reading, etc. |
| 10:15-11:30 | Morning centers: academic centers, small groups with teacher, math, whole group lesson |
| 11:30-12:00 | Lunch |
| 12:00-12:30 | Outdoor time/gross motor activities |
| 12:30-2:30 | Afternoon centers: small groups, science, social studies & quiet individual activities |
| 2:30-3:00 | Snack, wrap up the day, transition to after school program |
| 3:00-5:30 | After school program: children engage in free play with a snack at 4:45 |
