Your gift will open up a world of possibilities…

Access – to friends, to work, to community. It all starts with transportation. Nationally, transportation is one of the greatest barriers for individuals with disabilities, limiting the freedom to participate in community and to access employment.

Your gift can help break down these barriers. With your help we can reach our goal to raise funds for the purchase of new handicapped accessible vehicles. As part of our services, AccessPoint supports individuals to access a full life. To do that, we need vehicles that can transport people to the many places, people and activities that give their lives richness and meaning.

Yes, we are talking about vans, but actually they are much more than that. These vans are doorways giving people access to live active lives as members of their community. .

Through your generosity these vehicles will provide transportation, offering a myriad of opportunities for people participating in our adult services, which includes residential, day enrichment, employment, recreational and vocational training services.

We’re almost there! With the support of our donors, we have raised $40,000 towards the purchase of new vehicles, but your help is needed! Please help us raise the remaining $10,000. You’ll make a tremendous difference – in supporting people to enjoy active participation in the community!
